Umami-Spiked Wheat Beer Drink
Yield: 1 cocktail
One 12-ounce can or bottle of wheat beer
Equal parts soy sauce and fresh ginger juice
1. Take a large sip of the beer (or pour the beer in the glass). Add the soy sauce and ginger juice. Serve.
Spicy Lime Lager
Yield: 1 cocktail
One 12-ounce can or bottle of lager or pale ale
Equal parts Worcestershire sauce and fresh lime juice
Lime wedge
Tabasco sauce
Coarse salt
1. Take a large sip of the beer (or pour the beer in the glass).
2. Add the Worcestershire sauce and lime juice.
3. Rub the lime wedge around the rim of the can (or glass).
4. Add a splash of Tabasco to the beer, sprinkle salt around the rim and serve.
IPA Apértif
Yield: 1 cocktail
One 12-ounce can or bottle of hoppy IPA (India Pale Ale)
Equal parts Campari and fresh orange juice
1. Take a large sip of the beer (or pour the beer in the glass). Add the Campari and orange juice. Serve.
